The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Dubs shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Danner pinned against the cage. Danner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Danner has a takedown stuffed.
Dubs tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Danner drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Dubs is looking for a triangle but Danner pushes his legs off easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Danner seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dubs for as long as he can get away with.

Danner is pressing down on Dubs's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dubs is holding on for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Danner has hold of Dubs's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dubs manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Danner has good solid back control here.

Danner has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Dubs has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Dubs is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Danner gets his way!

Danner has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Dubs is defending well but eventually Danner manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Dubs has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
