The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie circles away from the clinch attempt.

chin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gracie's guard.
chin tries to stand but Gracie is controlling from the bottom.

Gracie is looking to stand up but chin isn't so interested in that idea.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
chin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

chin instigates a clinch.
chin lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

chin is looking to control Gracie's arms but Gracie gets an underhook and turns him. Now chin has his back to the cage.

Gracie turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gracie manages to end up in side control.

Gracie wants to sweep here but chin controlling him for the moment.
chin wants to stand but Gracie has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
chin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
chin scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Rullo Gracie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
