Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pykky Kalla!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duranto misses with a wild combination.
Kalla throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Kalla misses with a body shot.
Kalla takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Horrible takedown attempt by Kalla or perhaps it was just good defense by Duranto, which made it look bad.
Kalla slips a jab from Duranto.
And Kalla tries to counter it with a takedown but Duranto pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Duranto definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kalla cracks Duranto with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Duranto loads up on a big right hand but Kalla slips the punch.
Kalla throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Duranto is looking to counter punch.
Jean Duranto is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A big right from Kalla misses.
Kalla fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Duranto manages to avoid it.
Kalla misses with a hook.
Duranto appears to be looking for a big counter.

Duranto gets caught napping as Kalla dives in and scores a takedown. Duranto manages to retain guard.

Duranto is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kalla is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Kalla is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Kalla slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Duranto controls Kalla momentarily but Kalla frees himself.
Kalla trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Duranto uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looks like Pykky Kalla has been cut.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
A low kick from Kalla misses
and Duranto counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kalla misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Duranto.

Kalla manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Duranto on his heels. He'll look to pass Duranto's guard now, I'm sure.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kalla connects with a couple of short punches.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Duranto, as that shot connected.

Duranto moves into range and clinches up with Kalla.
Duranto lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Kalla ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kalla no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Kalla is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Duranto has his hands clasped together but Kalla extends and breaks Duranto's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Kalla.
