The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wanjiku scores with a nice right hand.
Derin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wanjiku scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Derin needs to keep his hands up - Wanjiku had a free shot at his head there.
Derin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wanjiku seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Wanjiku wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Derin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wanjiku feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Derins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Derin misses with the combination.
It looked like Wanjiku wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Wanjiku punishes Derin's body with a nice straight punch.
Derin walks into a straight right hand from Wanjiku.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wanjiku throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wanjiku avoids a punch combination nicely.

Wanjiku connects with a body shot that sends Derin's belly button to the back.
Derin connects with a right that clearly hurt Wanjiku. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Derin proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Wanjiku collapses and taps out under the pressure!
