Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Talib Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Brick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Talib Singh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Brick!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brick moves in looking to clinch but Singh pushes him off.
Brick throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Singh clinches up with Brick and pushes him back against the cage.
A shot in the inside from Singh.
Singh using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Brick has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Singh drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Singh throws a head punch that misses.
Singh misses with a hook to the ribs.
Brick tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Singh smiles and moves away.
Brick moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


It looks like Talib Singh has been cut.
Brick keeps the fight on the outside.

Singh gets caught flat footed, as Brick shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Brick decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Brick wants to clinch

and Singh counters by moving into the clinch.

Singh turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Singh manages to end up in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Singh tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Brick tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Singh is breathing heavily.
Singh tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Brick wants to get back to his feet but Singh drags him back down.
Brick gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Brick wants to get back to his feet.

Brick gets back to full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brick is on top in guard.
Brick would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Brick not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Brick gets to his feet. Singh looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Brick tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Singh counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Singh.
Singh with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Singh goes for a takedown attempt but Brick pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Brick moves into range and clinches up with Singh.
Brick is looking to break free of the clinch but Singh has double underhooks.
Brick can't break the clinch.
Brick tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Singh just stands there and leans against the cage.
Singh drops down looking for an ankle pick but Brick pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Talib Singh. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Brick wants to clinch
and Singh counters with a one-two to the body.
Horrible takedown by Brick or perhaps it was just good defense by Singh which made him look bad.
Brick fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Singh fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brick, pushing him back against the cage.
Brick tries to break the clinch but Singh is controlling the position.

Brick ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Brick no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Brick is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Singh throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Brick has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Singh off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Singh has managed to clinch.

Singh is fighting off a takedown attempt but Brick is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Singh to the mat. Singh regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Brick gets to his feet. Singh looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Singh just misses with a punch to the body.
Brick misses with a double jab.

Brick shoots in and bounces Singh off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Singh can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brick controls the pace.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Singh throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Brick gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Singh misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Brick moves into the clinch.
Brick tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Singh smiles and moves away.

and Singh holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Singh breaks the clinch.

Singh will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Brick controlling from the top position.
Singh trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Brick's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Brick content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Brick passes into half guard.
Singh tries to kick Brick off but Brick keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Singh pushes Brick off and gets back to his feet.
Singh tries to clinch but Brick moves away

and Brick counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Singh's guard now.

Brick wants to control from the top but Singh keeps moving.
Brick passes Singh's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Singh won't allow Brick to pass to mount.
Singh works his way to full guard. Good work.
Brick won't allow Singh to get back to his feet.
Singh tries to strike from the bottom.

Singh lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Brick!

Brick tries to lock up and control but Singh gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Brick wants to hold on but Singh pushes him away.
Singh prevents Brick from getting the reversal.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Singh misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Singh pushes Brick up against the cage in a clinch.

Brick is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Singh gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Brick pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Singh keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Brick jabs Singh right on the nose. Singh blinks but takes it well.
Talib Singh is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Brick fails with the takedown
and Singh counters with a three punch combo that has Brick backing up. Brick nods at Singh to acknowledge the strikes.
Talib Singh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Brick.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Singh moves in looking to clinch but Brick pushes him off.

David Brick has got the better of the ground game so far.

Brick wants to work for an arm triangle but Singh is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Brick decides to stand and escape the position.
Talib Singh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Singh rushes Brick and presses him up against the cage.

Brick wants the takedown. Singh is fighting it off but Brick persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Singh's guard against the cage.
