The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Taylor.
Daxton looks to clinch
and Taylor counters with a straight right hand.
Daxton fails in his attempt to clinch.
Taylor throws out a powerful jab.
Taylor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Daxton closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Taylor has a couple of punches blocked by Daxton.
Daxton is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Taylor to keep the fight standing.
Taylor fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Daxton jumps guard but Taylor stands there with Daxton around his waist. Daxton gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Daxton tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Taylor smiles and moves away.
Bruce Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Euan Daxton.

Taylor is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Daxton has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Taylor is looking to defend but Daxton has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Taylor! Daxton pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Taylor taps out and this one is all over!
