Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingkaid throws a head kick but StPierre moves out of range.
Kingkaid is looking to score with low kicks.
Kingkaid closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
StPierre throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
StPierre is trying to maintain the position but Kingkaid is very close to passing his half guard.
StPierre gets full guard.
Kingkaid preventing the sweep.
Kingkaid postures up.
StPierre trying to strike off his back.

StPierre looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kingkaid with a nice head shot there.
Kingkaid makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Kingkaid content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
StPierre wants to stand and escape but Kingkaid is having none of it.
Kingkaid throws a big right hand that misses.
Kingkaid wants to pass the guard but StPierre is keeping the position.
Kingkaid tries to stand but StPierre is controlling from the bottom.
StPierre throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Kingkaid looking to sit in guard and control but StPierre gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
StPierre trying to control the position from guard on top but Kingkaid is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kingkaid escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. StPierre gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kingkaid feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kingkaid is breathing heavily.
Kingkaid trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Kingkaid has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of StPierre is proving hard to escape from.
Kingkaid throws and elbow that misses. StPierre uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kingkaid's guard. Nice move by StPierre!
StPierre pushes down on Kingkaid's leg and manages to get into half guard.
StPierre wants to work for an arm triangle but Kingkaid is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kingkaid wants to get back to full guard.

StPierre is keen to just control but Kingkaid is a slippery customer.
Kingkaid on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kingkaid tries to get out of the position.
StPierre is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kingkaid wants to control but StPierre is keeping busy.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. StPierre lands a nice short elbow.
Kingkaid trying to control from the bottom.
StPierre is trying to control the action in half guard but Kingkaid is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
StPierre with a lazy takedown attempt
and Kingkaid counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kingkaid.
Kingkaid trying to control but StPierre is working from the bottom.
Kingkaid being controlled here momentarily.
Kingkaid wants to pass the guard but StPierre is keeping the position.
Kingkaid content to stall in guard here.
Kingkaid knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for StPierre on the ground.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kingkaid accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lance Kingkaid dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
StPierre tries for a takedown but Kingkaid circles away easily
and Kingkaid counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for StPierre!
Kingkaid putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Kingkaid lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Kingkaid can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as StPierre is looking to escape.
Kingkaid controlling the pace for now.
StPierre wants to hold on but Kingkaid pushes him away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

StPierre might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kingkaid kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Lance Kingkaid overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kingkaid cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kingkaid is in the full mount, landing strikes.
StPierre tries to reverse the position but Kingkaid maintains control.
Kingkaid tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
StPierre is working to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
StPierre manages to regain half guard. Good work.
StPierre is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Kingkaid pulls his head out easily.
StPierre keeps control of the position for the meantime.
StPierre moves into full guard.
Kingkaid wants to pass the guard but StPierre is keeping the position.

StPierre had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kingkaid is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. StPierre Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kingkaid's back instead.
Kingkaid looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
StPierre is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kingkaid is defending well though. StPierre let's go of the attempt for now.
Kingkaid is keeping busy.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards StPierre.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Kingkaid rolls, trying to escape but StPierre keeps control of the position.
StPierre is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Kingkaid has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but StPierre has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Kingkaid taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. StPierre doesn't care though - he's delighted!
