And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Desmond Galli!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galli moves into the clinch.
Ryker fails to pull the fight into his guard.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Ryker tries to pull guard but Galli forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Ryker is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Galli to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Derrick Ryker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Galli stalling in the clinch but Ryker improves position.
Ryker tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Galli smiles and moves away.
Galli connects with a looping right hand.
Ryker moves into the clinch.
Ryker pulls guard effortlessly.
Ryker is looking to cinch up a triangle. Galli throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Ryker's body to avoid the submission. Ryker has instead reached around Galli's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Ryker arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Derrick Ryker!
