Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lily Foster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matt King!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Foster sprawls well. Foster wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. King gets slowly back to his feet.
Foster slaps away a takedown attempt from King, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Foster went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
King tries to score a power double leg takedown but Foster sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten King somewhat.
Lily Foster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt King.

King scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
King misses with the ground and pound.
King in side control lands a decent elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King throwing shots but missing, from side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Foster is trying to get back to half guard.
King scores with punches from side control.
Foster wants to control but King postures up.
King has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
King sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Foster is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
King passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Foster!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King lands a nice shot to the head.
King postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Foster looks a forlorn figure.
King lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Foster is trying to escape the mount.
King landing punches.
Foster on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Foster tries to get out of the position.
Foster is bucking up trying to escape but King cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
King working the ground and pound effectively.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
King landing shots from mount.
King landing punches.
King fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
King is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
King has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Foster's face.

Foster is rocked!
Foster might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
King lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Foster hang on?
Oh Foster is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Foster taking shots to the head.
King looking to finish Foster with some ground and pound. This is bad for Foster!
King is landing with some decent strikes but Foster is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Foster is desperately trying to improve his position but King has a good base and remains in mount.
Foster is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
King looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
King looking to finish Foster with some ground and pound. This is bad for Foster!
Foster takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
King prevents Foster from getting the reversal.
King lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
King connects with a bit shot that sees Foster covering up! More strikes from King and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! King is our winner by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt King!
