The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva is looking to clinch but Vitorino is avoiding it.
Silva fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Vitorino is out of range.
Silva shoots for a takedown but Vitorino saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Vitorino sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
