Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Diddy (ranked 3209 p4p, 3823 weight class) and Zhyrgal Osmonov (ranked 402 p4p, 466 weight class). Zhyrgal Osmonov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Diddy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Osmonov has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Osmonov and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
A combination from Osmonov does no damage.
Diddy looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Diddy controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Osmonov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Diddy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Diddy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Diddy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Osmonov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Diddy has managed to get both his arms back between Osmonov's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Osmonov manages to reverse the position and now he's in Diddy's guard. Nice work there by Osmonov.
Osmonov has gone for a leg lock! Diddy slips out almost immediately though and dives into Osmonov's guard.
Diddy has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Osmonov throws a body punch but Diddy moves out of range.

Diddy tightens his grip and picks Osmonov up, before dumping him to the ground. Osmonov manages to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Osmonov tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We've been informed that Osmonov has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Diddy slips nicely into half guard.

Diddy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
