Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kristof Pardi (ranked 2872 p4p, 2776 weight class) and Ishmael Egyptian (ranked 244 p4p, 240 weight class). Pardi comes to the cage accompanied by Party Boy Theme. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kristof Pardi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ishmael Egyptian!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pardi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Egyptian.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pardi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Egyptian's coach down at The Infamous Duranto Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Egyptian's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Egyptian takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Pardi throws a hook but Egyptian blocks it.
Egyptian rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pardi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pardi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Egyptian paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Egyptian counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Pardi!
Pardi can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Egyptian throws a strike aimed at the side of Pardi's head but Pardi avoids it well.
You can see the frustration on Pardi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Egyptian is looking to take a break and control but Pardi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Egyptian wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pardi, who protects the arm well.

Egyptian wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pardi keeps working.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Egyptian is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pardi is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pardi has escaped and now he's on top!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Egyptian sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pardi's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Egyptian takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Egyptian passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Pardi!

Egyptian is landing with some decent strikes but Pardi is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Let's hope that Egyptian has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
