Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between KT Panda (ranked 141 p4p, 202 weight class) and Zheko Melondov (ranked 13 p4p, 16 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Melondov's choice of entrance music: Exploration of Space by Cosmic Gate. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panda throws a series of punches but Melondov avoids them all with ease.
Panda tries to close the distance and clinch but Melondov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Melondov is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Panda rather than just go for the knockout.

Melondov sends Panda crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Melondov is motioning to the referee to let Panda up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Panda looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Melondov feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Panda sprawling to the canvas! Panda rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Melondov finish him?!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Melondov sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Panda's defenses. It connects perfectly with Panda's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
