Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ishmael Egyptian (ranked 2154 p4p, 2081 weight class) and Kain Mack (ranked 186 p4p, 175 weight class). Kain Mack has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ishmael Egyptian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kain Mack!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Egyptian fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mack manages to avoid it.
A shot to the body from Egyptian misses
and Mack counters with a straight right hand.
Egyptian throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kain Mack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mack misses with a wild body shot.

We've been hearing good reports from Egyptian's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Mack really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Egyptian. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Mack counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mack displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Egyptian.

Egyptian takes a swing at Mack's ribcage but misses.
Mack connects with a solid leg kick.

Egyptian uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mack.
Egyptian works the jab nicely.
Egyptian is looking to wear down Mack with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Egyptian feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Egyptian, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
