Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ankle Breaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Casey Silk!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Bruno Lombardi and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breaker moves out of range as Silk strikes.

Breaker is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Silk's half guard.
Nice strikes from Breaker there.

Breaker is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Breaker is looking to advance position but Silk won't allow it.
Breaker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Breaker is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Breaker is looking to take a break and control but Silk is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Breaker is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Silk has managed to free his arm - good work.
Breaker thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Breaker is thwarting Silk's attempts to control the position.

Breaker looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Silk keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Breaker looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Breaker is working for a kimura but Silk is defending it quite comfortably.
Breaker throws a strike but Silk avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Silk throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Silk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Breaker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Breaker scoring with punches to the head and body.
Breaker trying to control the position from guard on top but Silk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Breaker loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Silk manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Breaker manages to get himself to full guard.

Breaker is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Ankle Breaker dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!

Breaker shoots in but no luck this time.
No joy there for Silk, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Breaker lands a two punch combo.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Silk.
Breaker taking a bit of punishment here - Silk scoring with strikes.
Silk throwing strikes but Breaker manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Breaker has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Silk regains half guard.
Breaker winds up and cracks Silk with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Silk tries to get to full guard but Breaker has control of the leg.

Breaker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Silk with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Silk is refusing to be controlled, as Breaker sits in half guard.
Breaker slows the pace down in half guard.
Breaker frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Breaker landing shots from mount.

Breaker throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Silk because Breaker loaded up on that one.
Breaker trying to control but Silk is having none of it.
Breaker is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Silk can do to turn this around?

Silk is squirming around, avoiding Breaker's attempts to control the action.
Silk takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Breaker unloads with some shots from mount but Silk bucks and avoids them well.

Silk holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Breaker tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Breaker controlling the position easily from mount.
Silk is in all sorts of trouble here.

Breaker goes for an armbar but Silk turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Silk.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Silk working his ground and pound in the gym.
Breaker working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Silk.

Silk lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Breaker pulls Silk in to control the position.

Breaker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Silk throws a big elbow that misses.
Breaker looking to hit a scissor sweep but Silk is one step ahead there.

Breaker is looking for a triangle but Silk pushes his legs off easily.
Silk must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Silk works over Breaker with some ground and pound from guard.

Breaker is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Breaker has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Silk avoids a series of strikes thrown by Breaker.
Silk is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Silk is trying desperately to improve position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Breaker manages to capitalize on a mistake by Silk to take his back!

Silk tries to escape but Breaker has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Silk takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Breaker has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Silk has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Breaker looking for the RNC.

Silk is trying to defend against the choke here but Breaker has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Breaker Tightens the hold and Silk taps out furiously! Breaker displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ankle Breaker!
