Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Henry Lancaster (ranked 557 p4p, 857 weight class) and Salyn Sarethi (ranked 81 p4p, 121 weight class). Sarethi has chosen Blue Ice as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Salyn Sarethi was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Salyn Sarethi!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Sarethi.
Sarethi lands the left hand.
Sarethi moves out of range as Lancaster strikes.
Sarethi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lancaster moves away from the strike by Sarethi.
Sarethi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Good shot there by Sarethi.
Sarethi throws out a powerful jab.
Sarethi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sarethi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lancaster takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Sarethi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lancaster swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A looping hook to the body misses from Sarethi. Lancaster does a little dance to reset his feet.

Sarethi scores with a hook to the body. Lancaster takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Sarethi misses the shot to the body.
It looked like Lancaster wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Sarethi slips a straight right by Lancaster.
Lancaster takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Sarethi throws a jab but it's blocked by Lancaster.
A jab from Lancaster misses.
Sarethi looks to land a right hand but Lancaster moved out of range.
Lancaster on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Lancaster takes one to the side of the head.
Sarethi missing with a left hand there. Lancaster was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Lancaster was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Sarethi misses with a few strikes there.
A swing and a miss from Lancaster.
Lancaster lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sarethi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Nice defenses there by Lancaster.
Lancaster walks into a jab.
Lancaster swings widly with a right hand
and Sarethi counters with a straight right hand.
A big left from Sarethi misses.
Lancaster steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sarethi.
Sarethi cracks Lancaster with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Lancaster drops his hands momentarily and Sarethi takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Lancaster slips under a jab.
Lancaster throwing a counter right hand but Sarethi manages to avoid it.
Lancaster misses with a right hand
and Sarethi counters with a body kick.
Sarethi misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Lancaster counters with a one-two to the body.

Lancaster lands a left and a right that send Sarethi crashing to the mat, dazed. Lancaster thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Sarethi is rocked!

It looks like Salyn Sarethi has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
