Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Romega Vartanein (ranked 904 p4p, 1301 weight class) and Sonny Day (ranked 128 p4p, 184 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day throws a hook but Vartanein avoids it easily.

Day throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vartanein looks to land a left hand but Day moved out of range nicely.
Vartanein fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Day manages to avoid it.

A relieved looking Romega Vartanein thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
