The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Bakar misses.
Evensen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bakar.
Evensen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Evensen loads up on a big right hand but Bakar slips the punch.
A little feinted left hand from Bakar on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Bakar uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Evensen.
The crowd cheers as Bakar lands an impressive looking overhand right. Evensen doesn't seem phased though.
Evensen throws a body shot but no joy.
Evensen takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Evensen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bakar.
Evensen misses with a body shot.
Evensen with a body punch. A glancing blow.
A looping hook to the body misses from Evensen. Bakar does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bakar lands a jab to the head.
Evensen throws a series of punches but Bakar avoids them all with ease.
Bakar was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Evensen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bakar lands with a kick to the temple. Evensen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Evensen lands a nice shot to the body.
Bakar lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Evensen gets tackled into the cage by Bakar. Bakar maintains the clinch.

Bakar breaks from the clinch.
A head kick misses from Evensen.

Bakar lands a head kick. Evensen smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
