PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pavel Sekera (ranked 2631 p4p, 2333 weight class) and Conor Larkin (ranked 0 p4p, 283 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sekera might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bleed it out. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larkin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sekera half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Larkin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sekera. Sekera obviously looking to wear him down.
Larkin throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Sekera gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Larkin is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Sekera is defending well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sekera gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Larkin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Larkin is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Sekera frees his head nicely. Oh but Larkin has switched to an armbar! Sekera is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
