The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson lands with a straight right. Black didn't see that one coming.
Ferguson misses with a looping right.
Ferguson misses with a hook. Black ducked under it nicely.
Excalam Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black shoots in looking for a takedown but Ferguson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Black's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
It looked like Ferguson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Ferguson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Black ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ferguson moves away.
Black shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ferguson pinned against the cage. Ferguson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ferguson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Black fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ferguson avoids it really well and circles away.
Niall Ferguson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Excalam Black.

Black dives in for a single leg takedown but Ferguson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

and Ferguson counters with a one-two to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ferguson cracks Black with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Black ducks into an uppercut from Ferguson and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
