Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chew Kok (ranked 1457 p4p, 2511 weight class) and Roman Ship (ranked 72 p4p, 121 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ship swings for the body but Kok moves out of range.
Kok gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kok misses with a kick to the body

and Ship counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ship is trying to control. Kok wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Ship seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kok does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Ship is working for an americana but Kok has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Ship was thinking about the submission.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kok tries to land a front kick but Ship steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ship has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kok finds it's way round the side to connect with Ship's head.

It looks like Roman Ship has been cut.

Kok takes the fight into the clinch.
Kok misses with a body punch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ship jumps guard but Kok stands there with Ship around his waist. Ship gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kok throws a head punch that misses.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kok tries to throw a body punch but Ship avoids it by throwing Kok back against the cage.

Kok tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ship's elbow.

Ship is rocked!
Kok creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Ship with a big uppercut! Ship tries to clinch up but Kok pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Ship to the mat! Ship covers up and Kok unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
