Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Beukeboom (ranked 964 p4p, 1162 weight class) and Cassus Fett (ranked 50 p4p, 59 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Bill Beukeboom has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bill Beukeboom seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fett throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fett throws a hook but Beukeboom blocks it.

Cassus Fett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've been informed that Fett has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Fett throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Beukeboom sees it coming and avoids it easily.

It looked like Beukeboom wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Beukeboom sends Fett crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Beukeboom is motioning to the referee to let Fett up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Beukeboom comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Beukeboom feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fett sprawling to the canvas! Fett rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Beukeboom finish him?!
Fett is still on wobbly legs! Can Beukeboom finish him?

and Beukeboom takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fett throws a jab when Beukeboom was well out of range.

Beukeboom pushes Fett off looking to stand but Fett dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Beukeboom is trying to control but can't.
Beukeboom has his hands clasped together around Fett's back. He's all about the action.
Fett working over Beukeboom with some ground and pound. Beukeboom looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Beukeboom is looking to escape.
Fett is thwarting Beukeboom's attempts to control the position.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fett looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Beukeboom with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Beukeboom is trying to stand.
Fett wants to control but Beukeboom is keeping him busy.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bill Beukeboom will probably get the nod.

Beukeboom lands a hook to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Beukeboom is pressed up against the cage. Fett has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Beukeboom down to the mat. Beukeboom avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Fett tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

No joy there for Fett, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Beukeboom drops Fett with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Fett looks back up at him and smiles so Beukeboom waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fett misses with an uppercut
and Beukeboom rattles Fett with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Fett tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Beukeboom dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Fett stiff and motionless on the mat!
