Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mo Scato!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster missing with a left hand there. Scato was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Scato shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Foster pinned against the cage. Foster gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

so Scato counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Scato pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Foster is keeping the position for now.
Foster can't keep his opponent in guard - Scato advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Foster holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Scato is looking for a kimura here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Foster is trying to get back to full guard.

Scato looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are battling for position here. Foster manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Scato trying to control the position from guard on top but Foster is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Scato postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Foster is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Scato, into his guard.

Foster lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Foster with a nice head shot there.
Foster working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Scato's head.

Scato is looking for a triangle here but Foster uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Foster grinds an elbow into Scato's temple.

Scato tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Foster wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Scato can't do much from the bottom here.
Scato is working to avoid the ground and pound but Foster connects with a decent elbow.

Scato is rocked!
Foster lands a strong strike to the head of Scato. That's dazed him! Foster looking to finish here. Scato is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Foster lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
