The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmitt has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Schmitt there as he acknowledges the shot.
A decent looking cross lands there for Odell.

It looks like Jeffrey Schmitt has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Odell.
Odell works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Odell lands a jab to the head.

Schmitt is rocked!
Schmitt scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Schmitt keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Schmitt, as that shot connected.
Odell throws a body punch but Schmitt moves out of range.
Odell missing with a left hand there. Schmitt was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Odell cracks Schmitt with an open hand slap.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd cheers as Schmitt lands an impressive looking overhand right. Odell doesn't seem phased though.
A lazy left from Schmitt finds it's target.
Schmitt misses with an uppercut
and Odell counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Schmitt scores with a hook to the body. Odell takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Schmitt lands a nice shot that snaps Odell's head back.
Odell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Schmitt.

Odell misses with a straight left.
Schmitt appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Odell is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Odell lands with an overhand left.
Schmitt throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Odell slips a jab from Schmitt.
Schmitt ducks under a wild hook from Odell.
Odell swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Schmitt.
Schmitt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Alex Odell has been cut.
Schmitt looks to land a left hand but Odell moved out of range nicely.
Odell throws a looping overhand right but Schmitt ducks down to avoid it.
Schmitt takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Schmitt misses with a jab to the body
enabling Odell to counter with a crisp jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Odell throws an overhand right that drops Schmitt like a sack of potatoes! Odell dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
