PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keenan Berry (ranked 5055 p4p, 4190 weight class) and Ivan Rosch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Berry comes to the cage accompanied by Ladies and Gentleman. On his way into the cage it seems that Keenan Berry has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Keenan Berry seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Keenan Berry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ivan Rosch!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosch tries to clinch up but Berry circles away and keeps his distance.
Rosch lands with a thumping leg kick.
No luck for Rosch with that takedown attempt.

Berry fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rosch, pushing him back against the cage.
Rosch is trying to maintain a safe position but Berry gets an underhook and turns Rosch into the cage.
Rosch tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Berry tries to score a body lock takedown but Rosch shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Rosch swings away with an uppercut that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Berry is pressed up against the cage. Rosch has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Berry down to the mat. Berry avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

As Berry backs off Rosch throws a huge counter combo but Berry manages to avoid it all.

Berry shoots in for a takedown but Rosch shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
