And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vadim Leonov Jr!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonov Jr is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Geri.
It looked like Geri was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Leonov Jr throws a right and a left that both miss.
Leonov Jr drives through with a takedown into guard.
Geri is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Leonov Jr presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Geri enables Leonov Jr to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Geri manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Geri wants to get back to his feet but Leonov Jr is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

and Geri counters with a head kick that drops Leonov Jr to the mat! Leonov Jr scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Leonov Jr shoots in looking for a takedown but Geri manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Leonov Jr's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Leonov Jr throws a shot from downtown. Geri moves away and avoids it.
Geri uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Leonov Jr.

Geri throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Geri circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Leonov Jr drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Geri follows Leonov Jr to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
