Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronan Darongo (ranked 44 p4p, 74 weight class) and Noah Anderson (ranked 5 p4p, 12 weight class). Darongo comes into the arena with Chaos And Destruction blaring out of the sound system. Anderson has chosen Bassically by Tei Shi as his entrance music. Noah Anderson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Anderson lands an overhand right.
Darongo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Anderson moves away.
Anderson is trying to counter with his kicks.
A looping hook to the body misses from Darongo. Anderson does a little dance to reset his feet.

Darongo throws a leg kick but Anderson sees it coming and checks it nicely.

We've been informed that Anderson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Darongo is looking to chop away at Anderson's legs.
Anderson is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Darongo with a body shot.
Darongo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Anderson eats them both and turns towards Darongo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Noah Anderson has been cut.
Darongo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Anderson manages to avoid it.
A countering left hand to the body from Anderson misses.
Darongo throws a nice inside leg kick.
Darongo pivots, looking for a leg kick but Anderson is out of range and Darongo settles back down.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Anderson! But no joy.
Darongo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Anderson was well out of range. Poor timing from Darongo.
It seemed like Anderson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

and Anderson counters with a nice right hand that sends Darongo toppling to the canvas! Darongo scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Anderson finish him?!

Darongo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Darongo misses with an uppercut. Anderson saw that one coming.
Darongo takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Anderson sends Darongo crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Anderson is motioning to the referee to let Darongo up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Anderson shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Darongo takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Anderson sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Darongo bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
