Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yoji Anjo Anjo (ranked 22733 p4p, 25278 weight class) and Oko Nawa (ranked 608 p4p, 621 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oko Nawa!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anjo clinches with his opponent.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Nawa just misses with a elbow thrown towards Anjo's brow.
Nawa has had enough of the clinch but Anjo keeps him there for the moment.
A short right from Anjo on the inside.
Nawa trying to land knees to the body.
Anjo blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Nawa gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Anjo wriggles free and stands up.

Nawa looking to score a takedown here. Anjo is defending well but Nawa drives through and ends up in Anjo's guard.

Anjo uses the cage to get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nawa has managed to clinch.

Anjo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Nawa can't fight it off and eventually Anjo manages to take the fight to the floor. Nawa looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Nawa has momentary wrist control but Anjo slips an elbow through the middle.
Nawa is trying to keep Anjo in close.
Anjo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Nawa is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anjo is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Anjo controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Anjo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Nawa gets tackled into the cage by Anjo. Anjo maintains the clinch.

Anjo manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Nawa trying to control but Anjo is working from the bottom.
Anjo is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nawa working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Anjo is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Nawa presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Anjo manages to pull guard.

Nawa is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Anjo has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Nawa is looking to defend but Anjo has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Nawa! Anjo pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Nawa taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Yoji Anjo Anjo!
A relieved looking Yoji Anjo Anjo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
