Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Painter , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Betiskuda looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
A shot to the liver by Painter . Beautiful body shot.
Betiskuda misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Painter closes the distance and clinches up with Betiskuda, looking for a takedown. Painter pushes Betiskuda against the cage but Betiskuda circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Betiskuda throws a body punch but Painter moves out of range.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Painter is defended easily by Betiskuda.
It looked like Betiskuda was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Mario Betiskuda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Giorgi Painter .
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Painter finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Painter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Betiskuda sprawls well. Betiskuda wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Painter gets slowly back to his feet.

and Betiskuda counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Painter off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Betiskuda follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Painter was out before he hit the floor.
