The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Cole lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rush circles away quickly and effectively.
A lazy left from Cole finds it's target.

Cole connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rush momentarily.

Augustus Cole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rush closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Augustus Cole is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rush shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Rush takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Cole lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Rush sprawling to the canvas. Cole follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Rush hang on?

Cole fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rush walks into a stiff left hand from Cole.
Cole connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rush . Rush circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Cole lands a left and a right that sends Rush crashing to the canvas! Cole dives into mount looking to finish!
Oh Rush is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Rush is in a horrible position here. Cole smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
