The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crow misses with a kick to the body

and Zonta counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Zonta works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Zonta works his foot free and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zonta is working for a guillotine from mount but Crow frees his head quite easily.
Crow blocking the ground and pound.
Zonta is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Zonta has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zonta pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Zonta throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Crow has his hands clasped together but Zonta breaks the hold and Crow is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Zonta!
