The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finch throws a poor cross that misses
and Hermann counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Finch is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Hermann defending well as Finch loads up on a big left hand.
Hermann is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Hermann with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hermann missing with a left hand there. Finch was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Hermann walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Finch checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Hermann shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Finch sets himself, and Hermann steps forward looking for the clinch! Finch avoids it this time.

Finch takes a swing at Hermann's ribcage but misses.
Finch just misses with a punch to the body.
Hermann takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Finch lands with a right hand.
Hermann is still on wobbly legs! Can Finch finish him?
Finch has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Hermann takes a swing at Finch's ribcage but misses.

Finch throws a jab but it's blocked by Hermann.
Hermann follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Hermann seems to have recovered his senses.
Finch punishes Hermann's body with a nice straight punch.

Hermann throws a looping overhand right but Finch ducks down to avoid it.
Finch lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Finch does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hermann doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Finch moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Hermann throws a lazy right hand but Finch sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Hermann counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

and Finch cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Finch circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Hermann to the canvas! Hermann doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Finch keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
