Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barclay Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Candy Routure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones's entrance music is Turn Down The Lights by Benny Page. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Routure misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Routure throws a jab when Jones was well out of range.
Routure ducks straight into an uppercut from Jones and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Routure maanges to regain guard straight away.

It looks like Candy Routure has been cut.

Jones cracks Routure with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Routure looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Jones finish him?

Jones comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jones waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Routure. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Routure to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Routure is pulling down on Jones's head. It's preventing any offense from Jones, at least for the moment.

Jones connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Routure tumbling to the canvas! Jones pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Routure was done - good stoppage!
