The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leeuwenhoek moves away from the strike by Riker.
Leeuwenhoek uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Riker.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Riker won't allow Leeuwenhoek to pass to mount.
Leeuwenhoek is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Riker doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Leeuwenhoek.

That was a close round but I would say that Jasper Leeuwenhoek will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Riker throws a shot from downtown. Leeuwenhoek moves away and avoids it.

Leeuwenhoek has hold of Riker's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Riker manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Leeuwenhoek is working for a guillotine from mount but Riker frees his head quite easily.
Leeuwenhoek is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Riker has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Leeuwenhoek is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Riker is forced to tap! Great finish!
