Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Salomon Rondon (ranked 3549 p4p, 4409 weight class) and Evan Padalko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rondon comes into the arena with Fiera Salvaje blaring out of the sound system. Padalko has chosen Eventually - Tame Impala as his entrance music. Evan Padalko acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evan Padalko!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Padalko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Padalko throws a head kick but Rondon moves out of range.
Rondon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Padalko.
Rondon throws a big counter combination but Padalko scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rondon.
Padalko fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rondon moves out of range of the body kick from Padalko.
Rondon dives in and scores a takedown into Padalko's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Padalko is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rondon wants to pass the guard but Padalko is keeping the position.

Rondon pushing down on Padalko's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Rondon is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Padalko wants to improve his position but Rondon is controlling well.
Padalko is still trying to improve position.
Rondon wants to free his trapped foot but Padalko is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Padalko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rondon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Padalko wants to get back to full guard.

Padalko won't allow Rondon to pass to mount.
Padalko slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Rondon stands and throws Padalko's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Rondon is trying to get an arm triangle but Padalko is defending well.
Rondon is working to tighten his grip on Padalko's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Padalko has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rondon is really squeezing tight and eventually Padalko passes out! Rondon breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

A very excited looking Salomon Rondon rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
