Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pope Cozad (ranked 2255 p4p, 3188 weight class) and Jim Lingfield (ranked 290 p4p, 406 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cozad might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Spirit In The Sky- Norman Greenbaum. Pope Cozad has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Lingfield working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Lingfield changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cozad tries to avoid it but Lingfield manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cozad to the ground. Cozad escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
