Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lesley Dancer (ranked 926 p4p, 1008 weight class) and Archie Oliveira (ranked 138 p4p, 146 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dancer has managed to clinch.
Oliveira tries for a takedown. No joy.

Dancer definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Oliveira tries to score a body lock takedown but Dancer shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Lesley Dancer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Archie Oliveira.

Dancer gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Oliveira.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Oliveira has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Dancer is fighting off a takedown attempt but Oliveira is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dancer to the mat. Dancer regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Oliveira throws an elbow that misses. Dancer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Oliveira's guard. Nice move by Dancer!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Oliveira is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dancer defends well.

Oliveira escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dancer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Oliveira looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dancer is one step ahead there.

Oliveira is looking to cinch up a triangle. Dancer throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Oliveira's body to avoid the submission. Oliveira has instead reached around Dancer's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Oliveira arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
