PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between AJ Brown (ranked 338 p4p, 225 weight class) and Iso Paa (ranked 51 p4p, 30 weight class). Brown comes into the arena with Ace Hood - Undefeated blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, AJ Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Iso Paa!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paa with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Paa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brown moves away.
Paa looks to land a combination. Brown sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Paa shoots in but no luck this time.
Nice defenses there by Brown.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Paa has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Paa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brown.
Paa misses with a hook.
Brown wants to land a leg kick but Paa is out of range.
Paa moves to clinch but Brown breaks away
and Brown counters with a straight right hand.
Paa misses with a straight left.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown throws a looping overhand right but Paa ducks down to avoid it.
Paa throws out a leg kick but Brown moves out of range and Paa only half commits.

Paa shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Paa was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Paa goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Brown rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Paa's guard! Nice work there by Brown!

Paa is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Brown frees his head nicely. Oh but Paa has switched to an armbar! Brown is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Iso Paa got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
