Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tanner Herro (ranked 3163 p4p, 2878 weight class) and Alpharuis Omegon (ranked 437 p4p, 397 weight class). Omegon has chosen Sabaton-Saboteur as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Omegon fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Herro to the ground. Omegon is now in Herro's guard.

Herro kicks Omegon off and gets to his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Omegon as Herro shoots in.

Omegon gets a takedown into half guard.
Herro has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Omegon is working away from the top position though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Herro is looking for a sweep. Omegon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Omegon is looking to advance position but Herro won't allow it.

Herro is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Omegon scores with a couple of nice shots.

Omegon working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Omegon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Omegon is nestled in close to Herro, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Omegon lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Herro quite badly. Herro pulls Omegon in close trying to recover. Omegon postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Herro on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Herro doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
