Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stan Young (ranked 5920 p4p, 6018 weight class) and Jon Raymond (ranked 585 p4p, 589 weight class). Stan Young has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stan Young! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jon Raymond! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raymond scores with a takedown into Young's guard. Raymond looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Young had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Raymond defends it easily. Young knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Raymond on the ground. Young escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Raymond gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Young can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Raymond controls the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Young tries to land a sweep but no joy. Young is looking to stand up but Raymond isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raymond showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Young trying to strike off his back.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Raymond walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Raymond feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Raymond trying to control but Young is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Young is trying to keep Raymond in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Young is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Raymond is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Raymond drops back looking for a leg! Young is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Young manages to kick Raymond off! Raymond jumps back into Young's guard. Young is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Raymond is controlling him. Young looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Young wants to control but Raymond passes easily into half guard.
Raymond slips a nice elbow through Young's hands, connecting with Young's forehead. Raymond in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Young tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Raymond!
