Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Giacomo Bandolero (ranked 3185 p4p, 2401 weight class) and Rafael Soto (ranked 176 p4p, 145 weight class). Bandolero comes into the arena with Bandolero blaring out of the sound system. Soto has chosen Parkway Drive - Wild Eyes as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bandolero throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Soto.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Soto has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Bandolero throws a series of punches but Soto moves out of range.
Bandolero lands a jab to the nose.
Bandolero misses with a few strikes there.
Bandolero fails to land the takedown.
Bandolero works over Soto's head and body with a nice combination.
Soto showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bandolero.

Soto moves into the clinch.

Soto jumps into guard, dragging Bandolero to the mat.
Bandolero wants to pass the guard but Soto is keeping the position.

Soto is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Bandolero is posturing up here but Soto has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bandolero tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bandolero has to tap! Slick submission there by Soto!
