Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mac Krauss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sick Jacken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mac Krauss could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sick Jacken's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mac Krauss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sick Jacken!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jacken drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jacken trying to control but Krauss is working from the bottom.
Jacken missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Jacken is looking to stand up but Krauss won't let him.
Krauss looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jacken wants to pass the guard but Krauss is keeping the position.
Jacken throwing strikes but missing.
Jacken is stalling in the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Krauss shoots and misses

and Jacken counters by clinching up.

Krauss really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Krauss is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Krauss looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Krauss bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jacken's guard.

Jacken trying to keep a closed guard but Krauss is proving a slippery customer.

Krauss postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Jacken to stand up.
Jacken fails with an attempt to clinch.
Krauss tries to clinch up but Jacken circles away and keeps his distance.

Jacken closes the distance and pushes Krauss back into the cage.

Krauss ducks under a wild hook from Jacken.

Jacken pushes Krauss up against the cage in a clinch.
Jacken tries to land knees in the clinch but Krauss avoids the damage to the body.
Krauss drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jacken pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jacken throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Krauss's waist but Krauss gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jacken off to one side.

Jacken keeps the fight on the outside.
Krauss doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Jacken counters with a nice double leg into guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jacken's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Krauss is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Krauss looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Jacken passes into side control.
Jacken advances nicely into full mount.
Jacken tries to control but Krauss wriggling away.

and Krauss counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Krauss.

Jacken has Krauss pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Jacken pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Krauss tumbling to the mat - Jacken dives into Krauss's guard.

Jacken throws out a loose jab but Krauss uses good head movement to avoid it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jacken has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Krauss is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Jacken's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Krauss gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Jacken looking to hit a scissor sweep but Krauss is one step ahead there.
Jacken is trying to keep Krauss in close.
Krauss wants to get up but he can't break Jacken's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Jacken is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jacken decides to stand and escape the position.

Jacken scores with a takedown into Krauss's guard.

Krauss looking for a guillotine here but Jacken defends easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Krauss manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jacken manages to get himself to full guard.
Krauss postures up.

Jacken had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Krauss is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jacken Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Krauss's back instead.
Krauss rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Sick Jacken is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Krauss is trying to get back to full guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Sick Jacken comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Jacken winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
