Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Ritter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duncan McCloud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCloud is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Persuit of Vikings. Duncan McCloud will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by McCloud. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of McCloud.
McCloud misses with a double jab.

Ritter shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ritter was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
McCloud is trying to stand up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A nice elbow there by Ritter.
Ritter working away from the top, dropping strikes.
McCloud's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ritter cracks McCloud with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Ritter loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have McCloud scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Ritter land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Ritter stands and salutes the crowd.
