Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 24697 p4p, 24719 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Mibangon gets a takedown into half guard.
Mibangon content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Mibangon drops an elbow to the side of Buut's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buut is trying to control but can't.
Mibangon seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Buut shoots for a double leg takedown but Mibangon sprawls well. He's pushed Buut's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mibangon tried to counter with a leg kick but Buut avoided it.

Buut dives in and scores a takedown into Mibangon's guard.

Buut has control of Mibangon's left arm, preventing Mibangon from doing any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Mibangon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mibangon quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Buut shoots in looking for a takedown but Mibangon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Buut's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mibangon quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Buut has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Buut shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Buut was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Minatay Mibangon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Buut throws a strike aimed at the side of Mibangon's head but Mibangon avoids it well.
Mibangon manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Mibangon is taking a breather. Buut says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Buut wants to get back to full guard.

Mibangon slaps away a takedown attempt from Buut, before circling back to the center of the mat.
As Buut backs away, Mibangon returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Mibangon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Buut as he avoids it easily.

Buut feints and as Mibangon raises his hands in defense, Buut changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
