The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silver instigates a clinch.
Dean can't break the clinch.
Silver can't find room to land a body shot as Dean controls the action.
Silver lands a shoulder strike.
Silver lands a hook that snaps the head of Dean backwards.
Still in the clinch, Silver scores with a nice short uppercut.
Silver has a couple of punches blocked by Dean.
Silver misses with a hook from the clinch.
Silver lands a right hand that snaps the head of Dean backwards.
Silver throws a punch but it's blocked by Dean.
Silver swings wildly with an uppercut but Dean uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dean prevents a body shot from Silver.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Silver throws out a loose jab but Dean uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dean throws a jab but it's blocked by Silver.

Silver misses with an uppercut.
Dean lands a jab.
Silver looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dean throws an off balance right hand
and Dean takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Silver throws a hook but Dean avoids it easily.
Silver ducks under a wild hook from Dean.
Dean swings for the body but Silver moves out of range.
Dean throws a series of strikes that have Silver backpedaling.

Dean drops Silver with a beautiful combination! Silver stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dean is looking for the KO!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silver bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Brian Dean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silver avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dean misses the shot to the body.
Dean gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Silver gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Dean is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
