Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kitten Kaito (ranked 24787 p4p, 25316 weight class) and Martino Silva (ranked 426 p4p, 432 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kitten Kaito!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martino Silva!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaito closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Silva to the mat! Silva manages to get full guard.
Silva looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Kaito is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Silva not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kaito definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kaito sitting in guard here, content to control.
Kaito wants to stand but Silva has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Kaito tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva is retaining full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kaito is stalling in the full guard.
Kaito gets to his feet - Silva follows without any prompting.

Silva throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Kaito counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Silva gets caught flat footed, as Kaito shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Kaito has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Kaito seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Silva for as long as he can get away with.

Kaito's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Silva moves out of range as Kaito throws a body kick.
Silva has a takedown stuffed.
Kaito fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silva sprawls well initially but Kaito persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Silva is trying to get back to full guard.
Kaito missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Kaito wants to pass the guard but Silva is defending well.

Kaito looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Silva is looking for a sweep. Kaito is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kaito is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kitten Kaito dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Kaito dives in and scores a takedown into Silva's guard.
Silva is rocked!
Kaito controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Silva is still in real trouble! Can Kaito finish him?
Silva seems to have recovered his senses.
Silva is breathing heavily.

Silva can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kaito controls the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kaito is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Silva can do to turn this around?
Silva backs away from a small jab... but Kaito lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Silva crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Kaito with a spectacular finish!
