Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rico Milka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pete Sirah!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milka thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sirah feints the counter takedown.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sirah looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Milka swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Milka gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Sirah drops back looking for a leg! Milka is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Milka manages to kick Sirah off! Sirah jumps back into Milka's guard.
Sirah won't allow Milka to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Milka is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Milka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sirah has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

A looping hook to the body misses from Milka. Sirah does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rico Milka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Milka looks to throw the jab but Sirah is out of range.
Sirah shoots in but no luck this time.

Sirah dives in for a single leg takedown but Milka sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Milka throws a hook but Sirah blocks it.

Sirah moves forwards but Milka connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Milka throws a body shot but no joy.
A telegraphed right hand from Milka misses the target.
Sirah flicks out a counter leg kick but Milka steps away.

Milka throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Milka takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Milka jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Sirah avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sirah with the counter takedown but Milka avoids it easily.
Milka looks to land a left hand but Sirah moved out of range nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sirah scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Sirah is pressing down on Milka's thigh, looking to free his foot. Milka is holding on for now.

Sirah looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Milka on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Milka tries to get out of the position.

Sirah is working for a kimura but Milka is defending it quite comfortably.

Sirah is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Milka doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sirah.
Sirah thows a huge punch but Milka dodges it nicely.
Still in half guard, Sirah seems content to control.

Sirah maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Milka could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Sirah has cracked it and Milka is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Sirah!

Our winner, Pete Sirah, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
