Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Dunn (ranked 3590 p4p, 4527 weight class) and Timothy Combs (ranked 368 p4p, 436 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Combs will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Mike Dunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dunn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dunn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Combs moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Combs thuds his right hand into Dunn's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

The crowd cheers as Combs lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dunn doesn't seem phased though.

Combs closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Dunn wants to sweep but Combs has passed to side control!
Dunn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Combs on the ground.
Combs is looking to take a break and control but Dunn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Combs lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Combs has control of an arm but Dunn manages to advance to Combs's back!

After the fight, Timothy Combs was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
