Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mr Pervitin (ranked 2021 p4p, 3482 weight class) and Diego Rios (ranked 271 p4p, 415 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mr Pervitin!

With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Diego Rios!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios misses with a looping right.
Pervitin appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Rios's coach down at Alpha Brasil was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rios's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Diego Rios decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
