Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matt Jones (ranked 2226 p4p, 3496 weight class) and Jing Xin Yi (ranked 290 p4p, 421 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jing Xin Yi!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Xin Yi as he avoids it easily.
Jones dives in for a single leg takedown but Xin Yi sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Xin Yi is pressed up against the cage. Jones has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Xin Yi down to the mat. Xin Yi avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Xin Yi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Matt Jones has been cut.
Xin Yi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jones needs to keep his hands up - Xin Yi had a free shot at his head there.
Xin Yi throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Xin Yi counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
